It was held on International Women’s Day. They came up with the idea for the event that honored 33 women from greater Riverdale. The two entrepreneurs, winners of a state award for outstanding women, wanted to honor the many women in Riverdale, Kingsbridge, Spuyten Duyvil and Van Cortlandt who give tremendous time and energy to making life better in our community. It was sponsored by 42 area shops and companies.
