The 'wider war' is already here

To the editor:

After the Iranian “act of war” attack against Israel, that country is now forced to defend itself.

Their major focus must be the Mullah dictatorship, the Ministry of Intelligence, Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, half dozen military air bases, four major naval bases, police stations, and their nuclear facilities. In addition, they must consider supplying weapons to the numerous anti-government Iranians whose relatives have been imprisoned, murdered, tortured and persecuted by this regime, and are willing to fight for its demise.

In my opinion, strong control of their airspace and a naval blockage might, in short time, topple this hideous fanatical dictatorship. The United States and its allies should not play a role in any attack strategy against Iran, but must assure Israel that it will continue to defend its airspace from attacking proxies stationed in Syria, Lebanon, Yemen and parts of Iraq.

The United States and allies must exert more force against Iranian proxies attacking our troops in the region along with defending commercial shipping along the Gulf of Aden and Arabian Sea.

In addition, the United States must immediately reverse its condescending political and economic policies toward, Iran which have totally failed.

The reality is that despite the Biden administration fear of a “wider war,” we are now in fact already in one.
